    <description>Hi Bala,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Are you using auto mounting for home directories for this?&lt;BR /&gt;If not, then check whether the home dir settings are proper in NISDIR/passwd.&lt;BR /&gt;If u r using the auto mounter, then see &lt;BR /&gt;1. Directory structure is correct.&lt;BR /&gt;2. automounter daemon is running properly in the home dir server...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Cheers...&lt;BR /&gt;Sameer</description>

      <description>Hi All, &lt;BR /&gt;Good day, I am facing a problem in NIS. I have created a user, in some set of NIS client the home directory is monthing in some set its not mounting, its direcotry goes to "/"... no error shown on screen. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Env : HP-UX 11&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Have any idea.. pls help me. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;-Bala</description>

      <description>Hey  &lt;BR /&gt;Forgot one  more thing, Check for the directory permissions. It should have uid:gid of the proper owner. Else it will fail.&lt;BR /&gt;If you have enabled quota, then check if teh quota is getting exceeded.</description>
