Hi:

For the 'btlan1' lan card (HP-PB 100 Base TX) you want to edit '/etc/rc.config.d/hpbtlanconf'. To set 100MB, full duplex, assign '100fd' to the variable 'XXX_SPEED[n]' and the lan name (e.g. lan3) to 'XXX_INTERFACE_NAME. Leave the STATION_ADDRESS variable undefined.

Regards!

...JRF...
Hi,

I think you have the wrong NMID for your lanadmin command. To see the ID for each card, run the 'lanscan' command. Then, use that number for 'lanadmin'.

Here are a couple of threads that discuss this issue:

http://forums.itrc.hp.com/cm/QuestionAnswer/1,,0xd15f7e990647d4118fee0090279cd0f9,00.html

http://forums.itrc.hp.com/cm/QuestionAnswer/1,,0xe7a33a7b3682d611abdb0090277a778c,00.html

JP
