      <description>I suppose all you will get is:&lt;BR /&gt;uname -i &lt;BR /&gt;Display the machine identification number (or the node name, if the machine identification number cannot be determined).&lt;BR /&gt;The serial number is writen on the box...&lt;BR /&gt;Regards&lt;BR /&gt;Victor</description>

      <description>&lt;BR /&gt;You can indeed see the systems serial number online using ignites print_manifest command - but it only works on new servers, ie. L class, N class, not sure but probably also R, A class and possibly V class.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Only the older servers will you have to find it on the outside of the server.</description>

      <description>If you have a system which does not support FRU IDs (currently every system except the N- and L-Class) take a look into the predictive configuration. The serial no. should be entered there.&lt;BR /&gt;On a V2500/V2600 you can execute on the Teststation the command  jf-ccmd_info&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
