      <description>hello,&lt;BR /&gt;N-class, 11.00&lt;BR /&gt;cde login screen does not appear.&lt;BR /&gt;I checked as following&lt;BR /&gt;1)Run /usr/contrib/bin/X11/dr_dt.&lt;BR /&gt;2)Check the error log /var/dt/Xerrors&lt;BR /&gt;  $HOME/.dt/errorlog, $HOME/.dt/startlog&lt;BR /&gt;3)nslookup &lt;HOSTNAME&gt;" and "nslookup &lt;IP&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;4)Check permissions and ownership&lt;BR /&gt;5)Check the contents of /var/adm/inetd.sec.&lt;BR /&gt;6)usr/sbin/ping &lt;HOSTNAME&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;7)mv $HOME/.dt $HOME/.dt.orig &lt;BR /&gt;  mv $HOME/.dtprofile $HOME/.dtprofile.orig &lt;BR /&gt;8)installed the cde run time patches&lt;BR /&gt;9)dtlogin daemon -&amp;gt; ok&lt;BR /&gt;10) rpcinfo -p -&amp;gt; ok&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I can't find the cause.&lt;BR /&gt;How can this problem be resolved?&lt;/HOSTNAME&gt;&lt;/IP&gt;&lt;/HOSTNAME&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Check that:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;1) You are at least in run-level 3 or higher:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# who -r&lt;BR /&gt;   .       run-level 3  Apr 10 06:06    3    0    S&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;2) Your startup script is enabled with a capital S and linked to /sbin/init.d/dtlogin.rc:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# ll /sbin/rc3.d/S990dtlogin.rc&lt;BR /&gt;lrwxr-xr-x   1 root       root            23 Apr  9 07:07 /sbin/rc3.d/S990dtlogin.rc -&amp;gt; /sbin/init.d/dtlogin.rc&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;3) Check that CDE is specified in your desktop configuration file:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# cat /etc/rc.config.d/desktop&lt;BR /&gt;DESKTOP=CDE&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hope this helps.       <description>Also check to make sure the line ..&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;* Local local@console /usr/bin/X11/X :0&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;is not commented in /etc/dt/config/Xservers.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hello,&lt;BR /&gt;Try &lt;BR /&gt;stopping all the dtlogin daemons.&lt;BR /&gt;Now run&lt;BR /&gt;/usr/dt/bin/dtconfig -e (enable auto start)&lt;BR /&gt;Logout and wait for the autostart.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Seems to me everything looks initially OK .... does the N-class have a graphics card ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;can you check using ioscan -fnC graphics&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Or is this a problem wrt remote displays if so can you give us some details on s/w and h/w involved.</description>
