Hi,

You can get the whole package from the HP
porting centre. It includes 'secure ftp'
or 'sftp'

Here is the link:

http://hpux.connect.org.uk/hppd/hpux/Networking/Admin/openssh-3.1p1/

This is free, there a a lot of commercial ones.
You can find these from going to
http://www.google.com and searching for
secure ftp software.

-Michael

SSH protocol 2 supports sftp as well as scp and ssh. OpenSSH is a good choice for the HPUX server. You'll need an ssh package for the Windows side as well. I've not used anything yet other than a commercial version (F-Secure) but I know there is an OpenSSH for Windows. Also PuTTY (I believe).

Darrell

Hi,

have also a look on SafeTP from the university of Berkeley. You can get it from http://safetp.cs.berkeley.edu/

SafeTP is a transparent secure ftp-proxy, which can be used on Unix and Windows (except XP). The Source is open and free, but not in the Public Domain.

I use it on several HPUX-server and Linux-/Win-clients. It works fine!

Dirk
