J3514A Network Card

How can I obtain a copy of J3620BA or J3623BA (The btlan4.c GSC 100BT driver for Network Card J3514A.) I have 2 Network Cards, but no software.

The software is not on my HP-UX 11.00 Install and Core OS disk (B3782-10302), my DIAG/IPR/SW disk (B6191-10020) or my HP-UX 11.00 OS Supplemental Tape.

The software will be on Disk 1 of any application software set.

Would the application disk be this: B6201AA

On the bottom of the above page it talks about an "add-on software product license" ... do I need to buy that in addition to the B6201AA? If so, where is a descreption of the add on license?

The application cd will be one of a bundle you have been sent by HP. For example 5012-0039 is march 2002 11.00 apps disk 1 of 6.

I don't expect you'll need a codeword for the card. If you do you can order it from your hp sales rep. It will be free if you have a support contract.

To add a codeword
mount the cdrom
swinstall -s /cdrom
From the actions menu select add new codeword. Enter it as per the supplied instructions making sure you use capital letters where necessary.

The codewords are stored in /var/adm/sw/.codewords.

The software is on "Application Software Bundle" which are released periodically. Typically these consist of a set of 5 CD's; your network software is on Disk 1 of this set and does not require a codeword. I have not investigated the licensing requirements but the software is there. If you on a support contract, you get these periodic Application Software bundles; if not, you will need to purchase the software from HP.
