Hi,

what file system type is mounted on the Linux- CD-ROM? Mostly they use ISO9660, this could cause your problems. CD is mounted, but HP uses different CD- ROM- filesystem! Find out this first....

Allways stay on the bright side of life!

Peter

Hi John,

Check the NFS exported permissions. You may not have the required permission to read it. Also check for local permissions too.

HTH,
Shiju

Nope that's not it..
I actually got it to work.. was able to use it to run swinstall and install a program on a remote client.. but now I can't seem to recall the EXACT mount command options I used to get it to work.. so I feel extremely stupid..
It has to do with the +F file type i think.. I've tried +F nfs and that is what I think I did yesterday late and it worked, but now I can't duplicate it, and I don't find much that's helpful in the man pages..
thanks though!!!
