    <description>Hi, Wish u all a very happy new year&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;In one of D-330 machine running 10.2 telnetd is not staring. when i tried to start manually (/usr/lbin/telnetd &amp;amp;) it shoots :telnetd should be start by init(1M). So from any machine i am not able to telnet to this machine, where as from this i can telnet to any machine. Any idea how can can i start telnetd process&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;TIA&lt;BR /&gt;ravi</description>

      <description>Hi Ravi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Have you checked the /etc/inetd.conf file. Make sure the "#" comment is not there in the line for telnetd. Once you have done that, let inetd reread the configuration, &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# inetd -c&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hope this helps.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regds&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
