      <description>The original standard defined a bus topology, so in this case, no.  The evolution of this standard became the ethernet standard, which uses a star topology.  So, the original definition only supported bus while the ethernet standard supports star.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hope this helps.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Chris</description>
