pfs_mountd

I am getting the following error when running nohup /usr/sbin/pfs_mountd &.
can't contact pfs_mountd.rpc: tenmaps4: RPC: Program not registered
/usr/sbin/pfs_mountd: /usr/sbin/pfs_mountd: can't contact pfs_mountd.rpc: tenmaps4: RPC: Program not registered

Hi,

I am presuming you are trying to mount a
CD in 'RockRidge' format.

Here are the procedures.

Finf out your cdrom device if you haven't
already.
Edit /etc/pfs_fstab file and add an entry
like the following
/dev/dsk/c0t6d0 /SD_CDROM pfs-rrip xlat=unix 10

Run the following
# nohup /usr/sbin/pfs_mountd &
# nohup /usr/sbin/pfsd &
Insert you CD
# /usr/sbin/pfs_mount /SD_CDROM
