    <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Are the smbd and nmbd daemons running?&lt;BR /&gt;What type of "security" level did you set in smb.conf: share, server, user or domain? Did you define a share to which you can connect?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;To debug the server processes, set "debug level" to 3 in smb.conf. Then tail -f the log file while you connect using smbclient.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Vincent</description>

      <description>Hi all,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Having just done a swintsall of samba 2.07 on a 10.20 box and followed (i hope) instructions i am getting following error when i do a smbclient -L HOST&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;added interface ip=125.36.144.184 bcast=125.36.151.255 nmask=255.255.248.0&lt;BR /&gt;read_socket_with_timeout: timeout read. read error = Connection reset by peer.&lt;BR /&gt;session request to NIDO failed (code 0)&lt;BR /&gt;read_socket_with_timeout: timeout read. read error = Connection reset by peer.&lt;BR /&gt;session request to *SMBSERVER failed (code 0)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Any ideas? Remeber type slowly when you respond i am a little slow at this stuff.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Matt&lt;BR /&gt;PS Tried hosts.allow wasnt sure where to put it or what to put in it though :(&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
