      <description>Hi there..&lt;BR /&gt;i'm having an nfs problem... i can't mount areas via network and i many nis users can't enter on this workstation.&lt;BR /&gt;When i try to stop and start the nfs.client it doesn't work... it stays waiting doing nothing...&lt;BR /&gt;is there a way to force stopping the nfs client services??</description>

      <description>If you could send the error messages it would be better.&lt;BR /&gt;But, did you try to do it by SAM? (Networking and Communications -&amp;gt; Networked FileSystems -&amp;gt; mounted FileSystems)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If this doesn't work, you should try to share the directory again from the NFS Server, and afterwards you should mount it without problems.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Another thing is, did you change the file /etc/rc.config.d/nfsconf?&lt;BR /&gt;good luck!</description>

      <description>Kill the following processes:&lt;BR /&gt;rpc.lockd&lt;BR /&gt;rpc.statd&lt;BR /&gt;biod&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;this will stop the nfs client.</description>

      <description>Maybe i have explained wrong.. &lt;BR /&gt;i want to stop and start the nfs services, but with nfs.client stop it doens't work... it didn't anything.. i type this command and it stays doing nothing..i have to stop it with ctrl+c... in these cases the only way i found resolve the problem is to reboot the system... i was wondering if there is another solution..</description>

      <description>The only process i found was rpc.statd..&lt;BR /&gt;i used this command to found processes&lt;BR /&gt;ps -ef | grep process&lt;BR /&gt;I killed it but nfs.client isn't stop...&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>So, I think the problem is that you need to restart your nfs client and check if you can do bdf. If you cannot, you then need to try to umount your imported directories. If this doesn't work...&lt;BR /&gt;Make a "shutdown -ry 0".&lt;BR /&gt;Sorry, but I cannot see any more possibilities.&lt;BR /&gt;good luck.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Note: Personal, to disable/enable nfs client/server you do not need to shutdown a system!</description>

      <description>that's it pedro!!&lt;BR /&gt;i did bdf and i had this response:&lt;BR /&gt;bdf: file system ws:/ mounted on /tmp_mnt/net/ws in not responding&lt;BR /&gt;if i try to umount it i can't....&lt;BR /&gt;if i try to stop nfs it doesn't work...so i have to reboot the system...ok thanks for all</description>
