      <description>Hi everybody&lt;BR /&gt; I'm unable to login through opc_adm or opc_op and getting following error&lt;BR /&gt;can't lookup servers: connection request rejected&lt;BR /&gt;(dce/rpc)&lt;BR /&gt;and this i had observed that dced daemon is not running&lt;BR /&gt;it says following error &lt;BR /&gt;2001-01-25-12:04:50.900-05.00I----dced error dhd general main.c 0x00000001 process pid 5776 exited with status 0213&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;can anybody help this is very critical.&lt;BR /&gt;thanks in advance&lt;BR /&gt;Regards&lt;BR /&gt;Harish&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;BR /&gt; Your Pre-authentication directory may be the culprit (dce/dhd)&lt;BR /&gt;The directory in question is /var/opt/dce/security/preauth.  It should&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;have permissions of 711 and a Group ID and User ID of 0.&lt;BR /&gt;preauth &amp;amp; creds directories should be owned by root.&lt;BR /&gt;    drwxrwxrwt   2 root     bin      1024 Oct 18 14:51 creds&lt;BR /&gt;    drwx--x--x   2 root     root       96 Oct 16 11:49 preauth&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Berlene</description>

      <description>when i try to start it ,it gives error as i reported originally&lt;BR /&gt;can u please respond .also the directories preauth&lt;BR /&gt;is also with same permissions as required .&lt;BR /&gt;so where could be the problem&lt;BR /&gt;harish</description>
