      <description>When inetd accepts a connection from a remote system, it checks the address of the host requesting the service against the list of hosts to be allowed or denied access to the specific service.  A service name corresponds to a unique PRC program number.  Since "SOCKET" is not a service in /etc/services, I am not sure how this would work.   If you want to deny access to a workstation, then select the service you want to deny, together with the IP address.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hope I understood the question and helped.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Berlene&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
