Online JSF hpux 11.11

Hello when I want to extend /var, i have this message :
fsadm: You don't have a license to run this program.

My os is an hpux 11.11 EOE B.11.11.0406

I've extend the lvol before i try to extend the fs.

The os was installed with a Golden Image.

Online JFS is a licensed product and need to be purchased, can you confirm if it was purchase and installed on the server.

If you think you already have a license, check

vxlicrep -g

and read

If your situation is the same, you need to reinstall the software from a current source.

My guess, too, is that you have been bitten by the OnlineJFS license expiration (if in fact you had the product in the first place).

Shalom,

Your golden image probably has the license bug built in.

In your situation, I'd solve the problem once on the image template server, take a new image and the problem will be solved wherever replicated.

Otherwise you have to solve the problem one server at a time.

That could take a bit of time.

I did ( Switzerland...):

After installing it with:

swinstall -s /full/path/to/B3929CA.depot

you will get a permanent license for OnlineJFS.
