      <description>Hi all, I wish to create a mirror copy of system disk but,when I try to partitioning the disk, I get this error : (HP-UX 11.23)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# idisk -f /tmp/partition.dat -w -v /dev/rdsk/c0t0d0 &lt;BR /&gt;idisk: Unable to get describe data &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;Here the output of partition.dat file&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# cat /tmp/partition.dat                             &lt;BR /&gt;3 &lt;BR /&gt;EFI 500MB &lt;BR /&gt;HPUX 100% &lt;BR /&gt;HPSP 400MB &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thank you in advance,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Lorenzo&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>I always do&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# idisk -wf /tmp/partition.dat /dev/rdsk/c1t2d0&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;make sure you use the correct device file and abswer "yes" - not only "y".</description>

      <description>Hi all,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thank you very much for your support. The customer didn't realize that the device he was trying to use with idisk was a cdrom, so he was trying to partition a cdrom, I think is the first trying this :D ,so this was the problem. But I have to correct YAQUB post because, not always, on HP-UX systems the default special file for cdrom is c0t0d0 (even if is very common).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks again,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Lorenzo</description>
