    <description>thanks brother&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;i will check out your commands tomorrow on the system and then let you know the results. our system is basically regional SAP production system. cluster is configured on db node and files deleted from the db node of the cluster. i rememeber some map and some conf are deleted from /etc/lvmconf directory on db node of cluster.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;regards&lt;BR /&gt;Adeel</description>

      <description>i have accidently deleted some conf and map files from /etc/lvmconf directory and my clsuter could not be run using standard way. it is giving errors. any way please ,to recover the files in /etc/lvmconf directory.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks and Best Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;Adeel</description>

      <description>hi haqbahu ;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;what kind of errors are you getting while starting the cluster or packages.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;you can run "vgcfgbackup vgname " for each vg to create configuration backup in that directory.deleting this files shuld not effect cluster operations. that directory is for backup purposes. ( vgcfgrestore .. ) &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hasan.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Try again; map files are only needed during a vgimport and the files in /etc/lvmconf are only needed to restore LVM meta-data during a vgcfgrestore for a disk replacement, for example.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You can rebuild the files by simply running vgcfgbackup /dev/vgxx --- if /dev/vgxx is activated.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What error messages are you seeing and precisely what commands are you trying to execute?</description>
