Peer credential validation for HPUX

Hi All,

In IPC through socket communication, to verify the sender's identity we have couple of option in Linux like getsockopt() with SO_PEERCRED option, getpeerucred() , getpeeruid () etc.

through these options we can get effective UID and effective GID from the socket connection itself.

But none of these above mentioned solution exists for HPUX.

If we have any similar solution for HPUX , please share.

This query is being looked at internally. Can you open a case with HPE for this for better tracking?
