Hi Team ,

We are looking for a monitoring tool which must cover all the below mentioned parameters

Disk
Memory
CPU
System logs
Database logs
SMS alerts
Application Monitoring ( To be customised )
Daily performance Reports
Uptime
Downtime
SLA calculation
Network devices ( Switches,routers,firewalls )
IDS
Co-relating system logs
Database Monitoring
Mail Alerts
Storage monitoring
Patch release / updation review

The above requirements must be fulfilled in our heterogeneous environment ( Linux , HP-UX, AIX, Windows , Oracle ,MySQL ,Enterprise DB )

Approx Total no. of Devices 100

HP has a number of products in the OpenView product line that will accomplish these tasks. There are several other vendors with similar products. They all come with a big price tag and an enormous amount of work to configure and adjust the reports. There are also dozens of freeware programs that can handle some of these requirements on some systems, but with an even larger amount of work to implement. For 100 devices, you should be thinking about $100,000 or more in upfront and ongoing costs.
