      <description>A very common cause of a cross-device link is a duplicated LVM minor device number.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Do this:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;ls -l /dev/vg*/group and make sure that all the minor device numbers are unique.</description>

      <description>Also check in /etc/lvmtab to find out how many devices are associated and make sure you still have access to all of them. Or check in "vgdislay -v vgname "output if you have the old logs available</description>
