Otherwise its likely to fail badly.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Ignite is the proper tool for system replication.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;make_tape_recovery&lt;BR /&gt;make_net_recovery&lt;BR /&gt;Golden Images.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Its free and ships with the OS.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>

      <description>I have cloned a hp-ux system disk using dd. I want to mount it and change bootconf to point to the new disk and use the disk in another system. How can I mount the disk and do that?</description>

      <description>And to amplify Steven's answer, "same type" is a very exact statement. That means that the model is identical, not just an rp-something or a couple of K-class boxes. In addition, EVERY I/O slot must have the exact same card and the boot disk(s) are the same size and exactly the same interface.</description>
