      <title>Errors rx3600 slow</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Dear All&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have rx3600 server which have 6x146GB HDDs; configured with 2 RAID1 for OS and 4xRIAD5 for application use ; this server is a testing&amp;nbsp;running oracle financial system ; when we run the application which use Java the I.O on the Hdds become very high and the system almost hang ; could any one help us in this issue what should we check and how to solve such problem&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;BR;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;fadia Almarei&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Fadia ,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Welcome to forum .&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I will suggest you a heap and thread dump analyser ( from IBM site)&amp;nbsp;for &amp;nbsp;the Java process&amp;nbsp;........it will clearly show if you&amp;nbsp;have &amp;nbsp;java threads that may have been waiting , if at all any .In addition to this ,an &amp;nbsp;incorrectly configured JVM paramaters in application server , can adversely affect performance. It's best to cut and paste the usage o/p ( from top , glance) to application people....and have them look at it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>A dead array controller battery will slow the array down - check with sautil/saconfig.</description>
