(Sorry for the other empty msg.) I tried to go to hprc.external.hp.com, using a user of "contrib," and passwd of "9unsupp8," and it said "Login incorrect." Is there either a new ftp site to use, or a new user/passwd?

Shiju, I believe the hpchs.cup.hp.com address is obsolete. And the hprc.external.hp.com site doesn't work for me or Yates. I'm going to take Yates' suggestion and see if a support call will help me.

Hi Bob:

Sorry, if it didn't work. It was working before. In either case, if you contact HP, they will send you the binary files.

HTH,
Shiju

Hello,

maybe your firewall and/or proxy does not like the "user:password@server/path" syntax - many don't :-(

Oh, and I usually have problems with using IE5.x, but not using Netscape4.x ...

Just my $0.02,
Wodisch
Hi Wodisch. Yes, our firewall requires some tricky navigation. I actually have to use the command-line ftp program to get out the door. I successfully got into the ftp server. It simply rejects the password.
331-Connected to hprc.external.hp.com.
331-HP Response Center FTP Server System
331-hprc.external.hp.com (192.170.19.51)
331-
331-
331-hprc.external.hp.com FTP server ready.
331 Password required for contrib.
Password:
530 Login incorrect.
Login failed.

At any rate, HP support emailed the binary to me, and I'm now a happy camper.
