What i need to find out is how to calculate the throughput of data being written to the transaction log so that i can decide on whether i can use a mirrored pair or if i will need to use RAID10. Obviously i don't want to employ RAID10 if i am not going to use or need the additional throughput headroom provided by the RAID10.<BR />Also, can anyone direct me to the stats for thoughput for drives (specifically 2 x 73GB, 15k, Ultra32 in a MSA500 in Raid 1 and the same drives in a RAID10 setup).<BR />Thanks!
