      <description>Hi Guys!&lt;BR /&gt;Is there anyway to restart X Server??? I have installed the HP Visualize Conference software on my machine(HP-UX 11.00), but to use it as host I have to restart the X Server.&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks</description>

      <description>Hi Luciano,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;As user root run the following command&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;#/sbin/init.d/dtlogin.rc stop&lt;BR /&gt;#/sbin/init.d/dtlogin.rc start&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This will stop and restart the XServer&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Sukant</description>

      <description>First I have hpvc installed ....&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;yes the Xserver needs to be restarted.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;dtlogin calls/ start the Xserver and then CDE (which sits on top of it so I'd say you should be OK with the dtlogin.rc start option ... but if you really want to be sure drop the system down to a non-graphics run-level ie&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;/sbin/init 2 then restart X CDE by /sbin/init 3&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;good luck !</description>

      <description>Hi there&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;When a keyboard &lt;CTRL&gt;&lt;SHIFT&gt;&lt;BREAK&gt; is issued with CDE/VUE running, the X-server dies and restarts. I am not sure if there are ramifications to this, but I certainly issue it when frustrated!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;MND&lt;/BREAK&gt;&lt;/SHIFT&gt;&lt;/CTRL&gt;</description>
