    <description>If the device is supported by STM utilities, you should be able to get the info (serial number). Try this ..&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# cstm&lt;BR /&gt;==&amp;gt; Run cstm&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;cstm&amp;gt; map&lt;BR /&gt;==&amp;gt; In cstm prompt enter "map", take note of the first column i.e "dev num" of the DLT drive.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;cstm&amp;gt; sel dev 8&lt;BR /&gt;==&amp;gt; Lets assume the device number is 8, so now you would select t.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;cstm&amp;gt; info&lt;BR /&gt;==&amp;gt; Update the map.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;cstm&amp;gt; infolog&lt;BR /&gt;==&amp;gt; Show information about the DLT drive.</description>
