      <description>hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;you have to choices :&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;use command "date" to set the time &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;exampels are ==&amp;gt; &lt;A href="http://www.cyberciti.biz/faq/unix-date-command-howto-see-set-date-time/" target="_blank"&gt;http://www.cyberciti.biz/faq/unix-date-command-howto-see-set-date-time/&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;or use ntp server to synchronize the time via network :&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;1, manual =&amp;gt; ntpdate -b server ( &lt;A href="http://support.ntp.org/bin/view/Servers/WebHome)" target="_blank"&gt;http://support.ntp.org/bin/view/Servers/WebHome)&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;2, you can configgure xntpd for automatic time synchronization &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;hot to do it :&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://www.cyberciti.biz/faq/howto-configure-hpux-unix-xntpd-ntp-server/" target="_blank"&gt;http://www.cyberciti.biz/faq/howto-configure-hpux-unix-xntpd-ntp-server/&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;PS : if you run some time depend application for exmaple DB server it would be better to stop it before.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;mikap</description>
