    <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Sorry - it can't be done.&lt;BR /&gt;Once it's set at creation, it's set forever.&lt;BR /&gt;The only way to change is backup the data, destroy the VG and rebuild a new one specifically setting the value(s) on the vgcreate command line.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Rgds,&lt;BR /&gt;Jeff</description>

      <description>Hey;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Generally, true; you should pump that parameter up when generating vgs in the first place.  &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I usually use:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;vgcreate -l 255 -p 64 -s 8 -e 10000 ${vg} ${pvs[*]}&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;That, so far, has given some good flexibility.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;All that being said, I have seen several posts that tell about an unsupported HP script that will allow you to modify preexisting vg parameters.  You apparently have to open a tt w/HP to get it and then promise you won't sue them if you use it...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Doug</description>

      <description>You can use vgmodify tool from HP.&lt;BR /&gt;It's an unsupported Tool. I think it's only &lt;BR /&gt;supported if a HP stuff do the action with this tool.&lt;BR /&gt;see attachment&lt;BR /&gt;Kind Regards&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thomas Elsaesser</description>
