      <description>Hello,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have a problem with a DLT autoloader 818. After the following commands the tape is swapped but the DLT device is offline. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;export LIBRARY=/dev/rac/c4t6d0&lt;BR /&gt;mt -t /dev/rmt/0m rew&lt;BR /&gt;sleep 60&lt;BR /&gt;/usr/sbin/mc -sD1&lt;BR /&gt;sleep 300&lt;BR /&gt;/usr/sbin/mc -sS$T -dD1&lt;BR /&gt;sleep 300&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Who has an idea?&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;To move tapes around an Autoloader properly&lt;BR /&gt;you need to create a robot device. Have a&lt;BR /&gt;look at the attached document. Once configured,&lt;BR /&gt;you can move tapes around doing this:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Assume that you device is /dev/robot:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# mt -t /dev/rmt/0m rew (rewind tape)&lt;BR /&gt;# mt -t /dev/rmt/0m offl (take drive offline)&lt;BR /&gt;# mc -p /dev/robot -sD1 -dS1 (move from source&lt;BR /&gt;to destination)&lt;BR /&gt;# mc -p /dev/robot -sS2 -dD1&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HTH&lt;BR /&gt;~Michael</description>
