Binary package rsync for hp-ux 11.00

Hi all,

We have hpux 11.00 running on rp5470, we plan regular backup for data using rsync.

but unfortunately we cannot binary package on rsync-2.6.2 . We already compile manually but can't run smoothly ( using #rsync --daemon , nothing happen).

anyone know where is mirror that still archived hp-ux 11.00 software ? (for rsync-2.6.2), or send me by email.

you're going to have a couple of problems....

11.0 is way out of support
and 2.6.2 is and old version.....

Why not trying to compile a newer package?

http://rsync.samba.org/

Try the latest version - 3.0.7 and see what you get. If this won't compile on your box, try the next version until you will find one that would actually work.
