Version Upgrade

Dear All,
Can I upgrade HP-UX version:
$ uname -a
HP-UX B.11.23 U ia64 4253985978

To HP-UX B.11.31 U ia64 4156074294

If its possible your advice would be appreciated.

Hi,

it always depends on the model of the system, you can see it by model.
11.23 can be upgraded to 11.31 on the following Itanium machines (let me say on all of Itanium machines):

Hi:

To install the 'msv2v3check' use 'swinstall' like:

# swinstall -s /tmp/MSV2V3Check_B.11.23.0907_HP-UX_B.11.23_IA_PA.depot \*

Manpages come with the utility and will be installed too.

use -x option to overide this error :

-x mount_all_filesystems=false

#upadate-ux -s /dev/rmt/0mn HPUX11i-BOE
