      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have create the logical volume without specifying the largefiles support.  Can I convert from non largefiles support to largefiles support without destroy the file system.  Is this going to impact my mirror as well</description>

      <description>hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;fsadm -f vxfs -o largefiles /dev/vgxx/lvolxx&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;should work.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Yes, this is on the filesystem level and naturally your mirrored disk gets updated.       <description>Hi&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You need modify using fsadm command&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;fsadm -F vxfs -o largefiles /xxxx&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You also need to make sure you edit the /etc/fstab file so that it comes largefiles every time the server is booted.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Rgds&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HGN</description>

      <description>Hi Khotikt,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;just need to do this :&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# fsadm -F vxfs -o largefiles /oracle/data&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;[ Assuiming /oracle/data is the filesystem you want to enable for largefiles ,]&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It will not destroy or anything to the filesystem , but it will set the largefiles flag.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Enjoy ,&lt;BR /&gt;Cheers,&lt;BR /&gt;Raj.</description>
