Why do you want to do this?

OK, you don't need it, if you haven't a library connected to your system. In this case, use sam, kernel configuration, drivers and disable the driver.

The easiest way to do this is through SAM. It will require a reboot.

SAM --> Kernel Configuration --> Drivers
Select schgr
Actions--> Remove Driver(s)from Kernel
Actions --> Process New Kernel

The server will then need to be rebooted.

Hi,

From my 1st respond, we can see that the 'spt' or 'schgr' driver is made due to where the device sit on.

If on NIO Bus so 'spt' driver is the one we can create. But if on HSC or PCI Bus, the driver should be 'schgr'.

Check the document below (docID :A5248544) :

http://www2.itrc.hp.com/service/cki/docDisplay.do?docLocale=en_US&docId=200000080079594

Hope this information can help you.

Cheers,
AW
