    <description>Hi:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;CDE is no longer installed by default on 11iv3 (11.31).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Mount your Operating Environment DVD and install 'CDE-XXX' where 'XXX' is the language you want.       <description>The HP-UX 11iv3 media for installation has 3 categories of software to install&lt;BR /&gt;1. Must install (cannot de-select)&lt;BR /&gt;2. Recommended (will install but you can de-select)&lt;BR /&gt;3. Optional ( will NOT install unless you select)&lt;BR /&gt;CDE is in category 3, so you hav to manually select it to install</description>

Login to your same system?  This won't use CDE.</description>
