      <title>Syslogd stops Automatically</title>

      <description>I've got a Rx6600 box running 11.23, its an application server. The syslogd daemon stops automatically. Then i have to restart it manually.I dont see anything in the syslog, it just stops.</description>

      <description>Did someone edit /etc/syslog.conf recently? There must be *NO* spaces on any line. A space turns the line into a comment. Use the command:&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;cat -tv /etc/syslog.conf&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;There must be ^I (tab) characters where normally see white space.</description>
