      <description>Hi Siva&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;    As I remember Itanium servers reuires a EFI shell to start with.It no more uses the boot method of PA architecture.&lt;BR /&gt;   &lt;BR /&gt;    For which we reuire EFI shell as slice0&lt;BR /&gt;and your physical disk as slice2&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;    We always use slice2 for LVM purposes.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards&lt;BR /&gt;S.Arunkumar</description>

      <description>This is due to the way EFI works.&lt;BR /&gt;It needs a boot shell (c0t6d0s1) and then an area set for HP-UX boot (c0t6d0s2)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;PARIC does not need this.</description>
