Hi Yogi

1. After extending lvol, you need to extendfs using raw volume

#lvextend -L 4000 /dev/vgmsa05/rPOC_Backup

2. Suggest to go for Online JFS which is a easy tool for Logical Volume management Online

Regards
Mahesh
If you have online JFS installed, this can be done online.

1. lvextend -L 4000 /dev/vgmsa05/POC_Backup
2. fsadm -b 4000M /<MOUNT point="" of="">
3. bdf

Otherwise use extendfs as suggested.

Sudeesh</MOUNT>
