Hello
When I want to remove the disk I get the following message:

The command used to reduce volume groups, /sbin/vgreduce, has failed.
The stderr output from the command is shown below. The volume group has not been reduced. vgreduce: Physical volume "/dev/dsk/c3t0d0" does not belong
to volume group "/dev/vg00".

Any idea
Thanks
Ralf

As the error message clearly says. Is disk /dev/dsk/c3t0d0 in vg00??

ioscan -fnCdisk - is disk there and claimed??
vgdisplay -v vg00
pvdisplay /dev/dsk/c3t0d0
strings /etc/lvmtab

Anil

If you have a disk that is "partially in and partially out" of a vg then you can use the vgreduce -f /dev/vg00 and the offending disk will be removed.
