Lvcreate - enable large files

I need to create a filesystem to uncompress an Oracle dump file of approx 3gb. When the uncompress gets to approx 2.1gb if fails. How can I enable large files. My current lvcreate command is:
lvcreate -s g -D y -m 1 -L 5000 /dev/vg01

Use: newfs -o largefiles

See the man page for fsadm:

fsadm -o largefiles /dev/vg02/lvol1

Hi,

you can use the "newfs -o largefiles" option when creating FS or
the "fsadm -F vxfs -o largefiles " option when already created

Hi,
... and when you have enabled largefiles for the file system, please remember to check the mount options for the file system in /etc/fstab: the mount option must then be largefiles - I cannot remember if that happens automatically, but it is at least easy to check and correct.
