      <description>Here is the high level procedure &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;1. pvcreate -B /dev/rdsk/cxtxdx&lt;BR /&gt;2. vgextend /dev/vg00 /dev/dsk/cxtxdx&lt;BR /&gt;3. mkboot /dev/rdsk/cxtxdx&lt;BR /&gt;4. mkboot -a "hpux (52.3.0;0)/stand/vmunix" /dev/rdsk/cxtxdx&lt;BR /&gt;5. lvextend -m 1 /dev/vg00/lvol1 /dev/rdsk/cxtxdx&lt;BR /&gt; (mirror all LVs on VG00).&lt;BR /&gt;6. verify by lvlnboot -v&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Good luck.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Jun, If you are talking about a complete root volume group (disk group) under veritas volume manger, no you don't&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;check the docs on docs.hp.com I use it on solaris and I don't think they will match.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Kind regards,&lt;BR /&gt;Robert-Jan</description>
