Hi,
I'm not able to connect to a J200 machine via telnet (i can rlogin)which has HPUX-11.00 but i can telnet to outside machines from the particular machine. Please help me.I'm getting the following error.
"telnetd:cannot push ptem:Not a typewriter"

Subhashni,

Try running:
insf -e

Then try your telnet again.

If insfe -e doesn't solve it - it may be patch-related...see the following threads:
