Hi,

Is it a Automounted directory. Pl. check /etc/auto_direct file. If yes try sending a HUP signal to automountd daemon...

Regards
Karthik

hi expert:
when i use "bdf",i could see the nfs mount on directory, but the contents of the nfs is not the same as the nfs server, when i want to umount it, system reply:nfs umount: nfs_unmount: /home/user01: not mounted. so i could not umount it.but when i try re-mount the nfs, this time system told me "the directory already mounted"
i try to solve the problem by stop the nfs client deamon by "nfs.client stop",but during the stop procedure, system also reply could not umount the directory.
what can i do.
thanks
