    <description>Just an addition: One of the fixes addressed by PHCO_27369 concerning vgextend - users are limited to create volume group with maximum physical extents of 65535.&lt;BR /&gt;R U using Extent-based stripping (/etc/lvmpvg) or  trying to add an alternate links to a volume group with exiting links ?&lt;BR /&gt;Please verify in vgdisplay that Cur PV &amp;amp; Act PV match &amp;amp; that Max PV is respected (default 16).&lt;BR /&gt;Cheers,&lt;BR /&gt;T??&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Trying to extend a vg i got the following error&lt;BR /&gt;vgextend: Too many physical extents for volume group.  &lt;BR /&gt;          Cannot add physical volume to volume group.&lt;BR /&gt;          LVM_MAXPXS: 65535 &lt;BR /&gt;Searching for LVM_MAXPXS on itrc i found info only related to hp10.20 and i'm on hp11.00.&lt;BR /&gt;more info: in the vg the actual total PE are 100100 that are more than 65535!!!!&lt;BR /&gt;I need to extend the vgbut i don't know how to proceed.</description>
