Failed to automatically resync PV

Hello everybody
From this morning I receive frequelntly this error on my dmesg error

LVM: vg[2]: pvnum=0 (dev_t=0x1f00a000) is POWERFAILED
LVM: PV 0 has been returned to vg[2].
LVM: Failed to automatically resync PV 1f00a000 error: 5

Can you give me he explanation of this error and what I must do for resolving the problem caused

Hi,

Looks as though you have a disk failing. Are there any SCSI resets in the syslog.log ?

Hi,

Take a look at this thread. This could be a disk problem, can possibly be corrected by increasing the timeout. If this is a array, one of the disk for the luns might be problematic,
