Top 'avg' Wrong...

I have an odd problem with top, not sure when it started but now the avg for the cpu's is not right. Any idea? Here is what it looks like:

Load averages: 3.40, 3.48, 3.35
671 processes: 656 sleeping, 15 running
Cpu states:
CPU LOAD USER NICE SYS IDLE BLOCK SWAIT INTR SSYS
0 3.55 46.4% 0.0% 16.5% 37.1% 0.0% 0.0% 0.0% 0.0%
1 3.08 36.7% 0.0% 15.1% 48.1% 0.0% 0.0% 0.0% 0.0%
2 3.59 39.5% 0.0% 13.0% 47.5% 0.0% 0.0% 0.0% 0.0%

its a bug, theres a patch out for it.

What version of HP-UX?

These patches may help you:

PHKL_23901 - s700_800 11.00 remove stopped threads from load averages

PHKL_26008 - s700_800 11.00 pstat patch, long command line storage

PHCO_26020 - s700_800 11.00 top(1) cumulative patch
