    <description>Thats completely normal, don't worry about it.  There's no concept of mirroring or alternate paths with the dump volume because a crash dump is such a low level operation performed when something goes seriously wrong with the system, ie a panic.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;Steve</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I can reach my disks by an alternate path.&lt;BR /&gt;but when i use lvlnboot -v i can't see the alternate path for dump. Boot, Root, Swap is OK. Who can helps.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks in advance</description>

      <description>Hi Peter&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Steven is correct and lvlnboot -v does not show the alt path.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Boot Definitions for Volume Group /dev/vg00:      &lt;BR /&gt;Physical Volumes belonging in Root Volume Group:  &lt;BR /&gt;        /dev/dsk/c1t6d0 (0/0/2/0.6.0) -- Boot Disk&lt;BR /&gt;        /dev/dsk/c2t6d0 (0/0/2/1.6.0) -- Boot Disk&lt;BR /&gt;Boot: lvol1     on:     /dev/dsk/c1t6d0           &lt;BR /&gt;                        /dev/dsk/c2t6d0           &lt;BR /&gt;Root: lvol3     on:     /dev/dsk/c1t6d0           &lt;BR /&gt;                        /dev/dsk/c2t6d0           &lt;BR /&gt;Swap: lvol2     on:     /dev/dsk/c1t6d0           &lt;BR /&gt;                        /dev/dsk/c2t6d0           &lt;BR /&gt;Dump: lvol2     on:     /dev/dsk/c1t6d0, 0        &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;ioscan -fnC disk will show paths to your disks.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HTH&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Paula</description>
