      <description>Hi Leon,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The VGRA ( Volume group reserved area ) contains: VGDA, VGSA and MCR. By doing a pvdisplay you can find out whether the disk has already got a VGRA or not ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# pvdisplay /dev/dsk/cxtydz&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;this will list you the VG details in the disk.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HTH,&lt;BR /&gt;Shiju</description>
