    <description>&lt;BR /&gt;hi..&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; normally in 10.x for making large files u have to install HP's Online JFS ..then only u can do this.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;fstyp -v /dev/vgxx/lvolX&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;check for f_flag in the o/p&lt;BR /&gt; if it is 16 ur file sys is largefiles enabled..or else not.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Vijeesh CTK&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi admin&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;We have hp-ux 10.20 s800, we enabled on volume for large file by the following command&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# fsadm ???F hfs ???o largefile /dev/vg01/rlvol2&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;But still when we transfer file more than 2GB it is give us error.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Can you please help us&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Best regards</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You seem to have a syntax error in your command - it should be "largefiles", not "largefile".&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Else, try enabling large files through SAM.&lt;BR /&gt;SAM--&amp;gt; Disk and Filesystems --&amp;gt; Select the filesystem --&amp;gt; Selct Action --&amp;gt; Modify --&amp;gt; Modify vxfs default /parameters --&amp;gt; set the flag largefiles on , Select Ok and exit. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>hi &lt;BR /&gt;the command was correct ???largefiles???  and it show me output that it is modifying the logical volume. &lt;BR /&gt;But the file transfer did not work.&lt;BR /&gt;we try with sam but I did not find the option in 10.20, but found it in 11.00 &lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>thank you all.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;the problem was with customer app.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;what we did we create file with size more than two 2G in the unix live and it work.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You need check this file and check /etc/fstab. And modify this and remount the filesystem.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you try make a copy with the nfs you need check if the nfs version that you run allow the largefile !</description>
