Hello,

I've got a short question, is it possible to boot from a lun on the VA7100 ?. If yes where can i find the documentation ( i can't find anything in the VA manuals ).

Yes, but only for 11 and 11i or HPux.

from the actual manual A6183-90900 - page 12.

In short: YES
The VA7100 is supported for boot/root/swap at HP-UX 11.00, if the system you wish to boot supports FC boot, and has the required PDC etc.
