sam hangs

I am trying to create an fbackup via sam. When
specifying backup scope sam hangs while trying
to find logical volumes. ???? Any ideas ?

Hi Greg,
On which LV it hangs. Do you have that LV active? what is the mount point for that LV?

try fbackup from command line to track down problem.
#fbackup -0v -i /etc -i /??? -i /??? -f
-i= include that directory in backup, you can use -i multiple time.
-0= level 0 backup
-v= verbose

Do you have any Fiber device on your system i have had issues with FC devices and sam

Dear Kim

Did you try using the command line and it still hangs?. Does sam hang in any other sussystem?... I had faced a similar problem but loading the patch is got solved...
